Heading To Berlin!
Last full day in Lech and going on one final hike (the most challenging one yet!) to top off the week. Can you believe Hamlet has been waddling along at 3,000 feet and doing just fine for himself? He’s like all of a foot tall. (Seriously, he must be in better shape than I am.)
Anyway, I will be heading to Berlin tomorrow with the dog for a solo weekend. The reason for the trip is Patrick’s visa renewal appointment on Tuesday, but I opted to show up early and sans boyfriend so I could spend more time in the city. Without the German lover around, this is my chance to figure out how much of his native language I’ve picked up. I’m excited to be traveling alone for the first time since 2008, but a little freaked out about the responsibility of having the dog along. (It’s our first mommy-doggy trip together!) I’m sure we’ll make it around the city fine.
