    Tumblr is a business.

And I use it for free. I’m honestly not surprised that the guys at the top are putting their shareholders before their stakeholders. My lack of outrage is the result of years of disillusionment and mistrust. You should try it sometime. It makes it much easier to dealĀ  when corporate interests win over your vague, but much-cherished values.

If you’re worried about getting censored, then the practical solution would be to start paying for your own domain and hosting fees, which is what I do for SexandtheIvy.com. I don’t think I’m in danger of getting my account deactivated, so I’m going to stick to tumble-logging, if only because it takes an 8-year-old’s competence to maintain a blog here.
