Harvard Square Shelter Volunteers Needed For Winter Break

This winter season, the Harvard Sq. Homeless Shelter really needs your help. At present, we do not have sufficient volunteers to stay open for the entirety of winter break.

We run four shifts a day:

    • Breakfast (6:30am-9:00am OR 7:30am-10:00am on Saturday)
    • Dinner (6:45pm-9:15pm)
    • Evening (9:00pm-11:15pm)
    • Overnight (11:00pm-9:00am)

We are located at 66 Winthrop St. in the basement of the University Lutheran Church in Harvard Square (next door to Pinnochio’s Pizza).

To sign up for a shift, please follow the instructions at the top of this

I was originally going to stick around Boston until the 27th to hang out with thesis-writing Tiff and to volunteer over Christmas, but I decided to come back to California instead. If anyone is free and in the area, consider volunteering at one of the many soup kitchens and shelters that usually depend on student help.
