So, it’s going to be my first time in Ithaca, and I’m sharing a hotel room with Jenna Bromberg, formerly of The Cornell Daily Sun. I’m so psyched for our imminent scantily clad, interracial pillow fight.
On Thursday’s panel, Jenna will be talking about penning her hysterically witty sex column, Bedroom Eyes, and I’ll be chatting about Sex and the Ivy. If I’m Carrie 2.0, then Jenna is Carrie three sheets to the wind. Jenna puts my writing to shame with prose that includes gems, like “wrinkle beast” (a euphemism for penis) and “baby gravy” (semen). Her column was really quite remarkable and demonstrated how sex writing doesn’t have to be clichéd, forced, or romanticized.
