Senior Spring Begins … Not.
But it’s not going to be much of a joy ride for a while. I get back to Boston on Thursday (still in LA right now) and must immediately accomplish the following within 24 hours of my arrival:
- Convince my German instructor that I am capable of keeping up in intensive second-year German even though I will have to miss one hour of class (out of seven) each week due to a conflict with another course.
- Interview for (and hopefully, land) an internship at a women’s organization I’d love to work for after graduation
- Co-write with Christine the Valentine’s Day installment of our Sex Ed series
- Complete a grant application for Harvard’s Women’s Week on behalf of the Queer Students and Allies. (Did I mention that I am now the QSA Women’s Outreach & Events Chair? I am!) The event I proposed for the QSA is awesome, and I am really excited to work on it. Even though it takes place the week before my thesis deadline. (I’m trying to not think about that right now.)
- PICK UP THE DOGGY
I’m not really sure how I’m going to handle the next week/month of my life, but I’m going to go to Santa Monica now and dig around in the sand for a gift which Tara had her boyfriend bury for me to find.
