Out with the meat man. Back before dawn. Love, Mallory.
And we already managed to rewatch Natural Born Killers last night, this time with friends (who agreed that this is a seriously underrated film). I don’t even like movies that much and certainly rarely like movies enough to see them twice in the same month, but this, along with Heathers, is one of those films that I actively look forward to from the very beginning. Seeing the first shoot-out this time around? Made me giggle in anticipation for the rest to come. And to think this movie used to get blamed for school shootings.
Also a contender for the most romantic movie ever? This is probably a minority opinion, but the murder-y parts aside, the relationship between the serial killer protagonists seemed like such a startlingly realistic depiction of modern love. Compare that to what you get from most chick flicks or rom-coms or whatever you call stupid movies marketed to women.
I think the above picture basically sums up the Knoxes’ entire relationship dynamic (as well as my own).
