Old email from my high school English teacher

…. And, of course, I want to hear about the book possilities etc etc. I read the last article you sent and while I am very happy, pleased, and impressed with the number of pieces you’ve had published, I do hope you are going to move on from the rather —the word “coy” springs to mind—college girl bits you’ve been doing. I understand that they are saleable (sp.) etc. etc. But I’m equally wondering what else you have to say/plan to say as a writer???? I trust you don’t mind this sort of crabby (or crappy) feedback from your old teacher.
I think of you often and hope you are healthy —in body and spirit—and enjoying being a lovely young thing.
I love this woman. Been doing a lot of thinking lately about what kind of literary reputation I want to establish.
