So I had dinner in Currier after all, and then I decided that I wanted to take a nap (still jet-lagged). That was a bad idea. I woke up maybe three times and went back to sleep three times until finally returning phone calls and text messages at midnight. Way too late to go out.

Anyway, at 5pm today, I finished the two drafts I’ve been dying over since before Switzerland. And now I’m back to work, brainstorming pitches for personal essays I can hock for spring break funds (Greece is so not in my budget).

I think I’m going to try pitching non-relationship columns because I’d like more diversity in my clips. I don’t know what my luck will be because I’m writing cold pitches, but I guess we’ll see.
