2009 Asian American Women In Leadership Conference

I was a panelist at last year’s AAWIL Conference and loved meeting the other women (and high schoolers) in attendance. I expect that this year’s held at Boston University) will be just as well-planned and even bigger! Details below:

5th Annual Asian American Women in Leadership Conference
Fearless Leadership: Taking Charge with Confidence
    Saturday, October 3, 2009 |  8:30am - 4pm | Boston University Photonics Center | Boston, MA

Asian American females often face cultural and societal pressures, thus fearing the exploration of all options before choosing a traditional path. Nevertheless, success and confidence can be attained by taking a fearless step forward. The AAWIL conference aims to:

      • Build upon last year’s theme of “Balanced Leadership: Maintaining Perspective”
      • Gather cross-generational Asian American women from across the continental US with diverse personal and professional backgrounds to share their experiences of “Fearless Leadership”
      • Discuss the various aspects of continuous leadership development to make lasting, positive changes in our communities
      • Celebrate and explore ways Asian American girls and women exercise “Fearless Leadership” by leveraging our personal unique identities and interest
