2009 Asian American Women In Leadership Conference

Asian American females often face cultural and societal pressures, thus fearing the exploration of all options before choosing a traditional path. Nevertheless, success and confidence can be attained by taking a fearless step forward. The AAWIL conference aims to:
- Build upon last year’s theme of “Balanced Leadership: Maintaining Perspective”
- Gather cross-generational Asian American women from across the continental US with diverse personal and professional backgrounds to share their experiences of “Fearless Leadership”
- Discuss the various aspects of continuous leadership development to make lasting, positive changes in our communities
- Celebrate and explore ways Asian American girls and women exercise “Fearless Leadership” by leveraging our personal unique identities and interest
