    The other night, I made Chicken Tikka Masala, one of my favorite Indian dishes and the first I’ve attempted to cook at home. It’s actually pretty easy to replicate in your own kitchen and doesn’t require a ton of culinary skill. Still, one has to have a pretty formidable spice rack in order to approximate the sauce (which contained, according to my recipe, chili powder, bay leaves, nutmeg, cumin, cinnamon, cardamon, turmeric, cloves, and coriander).

    Try serving over basmati rice or with naan. I got a very tasty curry-flavored naan from Trader Joe’s last night.
