I had no idea that I had so many readers in Southeast Asia. I’m quite jealous of you guys! Such a great climate and proximity to truly amazing cuisine. And maybe it’s the homesick Chinese girl in me, but it’s really fantastic to be in a place that feels culturally familiar. I mean, I grew up in LA, but in a *very* Asian part of the region, and I miss the food and language so much sometimes. Even though I’m American born and raised, Southeast Asia weirdly feels closer to home than many parts of Boston. I will definitely be returning!
