At The Edison in downtown with Christine and Jo. This is the former location of an Edison power plant which has been converted to a 1920’s themed lounge (basically, a modern speakeasy). It’s super trendy, but not in an obnoxious kind of way.
There are burlesque dancers and live music on Thursdays from 8:30-11:30pm. They also play silent movies on all their walls. I downed a tequila shot and watched the entirety of the classic Gish sisters film, Orphans of the Storm.
