Um, I have NO idea how Gilt managed to score this much of a discount on Upstairs On The Square, but they’re having a sale on a five-course tasting dinner for two (with paired wines!) that’s priced at $120. It’s part of the launch for Gilt City, which delivers luxury dining and lifestyle deals to your inbox. Upstairs is my go-to brunch place in Harvard Square and probably the only establishment I really miss as a dinner option now that I live in Boston. (I mean, the decor involves copious amounts of pink and zebra print — what’s not to love?) I’m still kind of balking at the price — I don’t even really drink! — but this is pretty much the craziest foodie deal I’ve seen for the Boston area thus far. Will have to ponder this decision today …
